In Christmas 9 to 5, Jennifer (Tiya Sircar) is a junior reporter with the Chicago Mercury newspaper, who gets the assignment of her life: to find the true meaning of Christmas. During the big holiday season lead-up, she goes undercover as a 9 to 5 sales clerk at Desmond's, a traditional and beloved, yet failing Chicago family-run department store. Here she finds her true calling, saves the day, and meets the man of her dreams.
